The SMTA hosts an annual Sonatina Festival each spring. It is an event for all ages, instruments, and skill levels, and open to the public. Performers and audience members enjoy two performance programs featuring a wide variety of solos, ensembles, and multi-instrumental groups. Performers share interesting information about their pieces, and perform music of the sonatina form, from Baroque era pieces to new compositions.
Registration is open February 1-28, and the Festival will be held on April 27.
