The Simon-Fiset Composition Competition is open to students in school grades 1-12 in four grade-level categories. New composers are encouraged to enter! Entrants submit a score and a recording of their piece (using live instruments or digital instrumentation). Students may submit more than one composition, but must submit a separate application and fee with each composition. 

All entrants receive age-appropriate positive and constructive feedback from the adjudicator. Winning entrants receive certificates by mail, and monetary prizes via PayPal. 

The entry period will be from February 20-March 20, with results announced by the end of April. More information about the competition and this year's Rules & Regulations will be posted on the SMTA website in early February.
