“SLOT” has nothing to do with gambling! “SLOT” (also known as SWOT), is an analytical tool used by many businesses to help prepare for change – planned or unexpected. “SLOT” is an acronym for Strengths, Limitations (or Weaknesses), Opportunities, and Threats. In this presentation, we will analyze the challenges each of us faces in running our studios, and share strategies and resources for dealing with inevitable change!

RoseMarie Tamburri holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Cornish College of the Arts. She is an active member of the Seattle MTA, serves as the WSMTA Independent Music Teacher Forum Chair and is a founding member of the chamber group Play On! She is grateful to her first teacher, Sister Agnes Marie, who noticed a twinkle in her eye when she sat at the piano!
