These recitals are open to students of SMTA teachers of all instruments. All performances are hosted on Zoom (link is sent out in an announcement prior to each performance). We offer online opportunities to allow for equity/accessibility and to have as many students as possible participate!

To watch videos of previous recitals, visit the SMTA’s Student Recital playlist on YouTube.

Thank you again to Sue Poon, Mengyiyi Chen, Laura Liu, Mona Elsing, and Ondine De Mer, all of whom entered students into our midwinter online recital. We had a lovely time with excellent performances, available now for anyone who wants to sample the highlights on the SMTA’s YouTube channel. Have a great Spring and I’ll see you all in April!

The adult student soirées are a perfect place for adult students to participate with other adults learning to play an instrument. They offer a fun and supportive environment, where all levels and instruments are welcome. Performances are followed by social conversation. They are open to all adult students of SMTA member teachers.

Recital hall is located on the second floor. Bring non-alcoholic beverages and nice party food for a potluck reception afterwards. There's plenty of free parking in the strip mall lot. RSVPING yes: Xiao-Ping Liu (Laura Ouimette's student)

Want to participate? Contact Chair Karin McCullough through the SMTA office.
