Music Literacy Program informational meeting

As you prepare your studio for the new year, please consider participating in the Music Literacy Program (MLP). The MLP offers a course of study in five areas of musicianship: Written Theory, Technique/Applied Theory, Rhythm, Listening and Sight-Playing from beginning to advanced levels (1 thru 10). Whether you have participated in prior years’ MLP or are new to the program and are considering entering students, please join us for a virtual CIG (Common Interest Group) on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. In this session, we will:

  • Give an overview of MLP and details about event dates and logistics.

  • Walk through important new changes to the registration process.

  • Provide links to resources to help prepare your students.

  • Ask for your support in a variety of volunteer opportunities.

**To reserve your spot, please reply to co-chairs RoseMarie Tamburri or Thom Stuart via smtaoffice@gmail.com, and we will send you the Zoom link.** The Music Literacy Program is an essential and valuable tool to expand students’ musical literacy and growth. Plus, it’s fun and a great way to recognize students’ efforts and accomplishments!

Thank you and cheers for MLP 2022!
