This is an event to celebrate and discover the diverse subgenres of jazz. It takes place in a non-competitive recital setting, and students will be encouraged to introduce their piece and provide a short oral description of the piece’s history before performing. Both written and improvised pieces are encouraged.

Please note: Participation will be limited to students of SMTA members. All ages, instruments, and levels are welcome!
