Of course, change has been very much on my mind of late! The World As We Knew It has changed rapidly, right before our eyes, in ways that would’ve been unthinkable not so long ago - and the long list of things that have changed certainly includes my own practice of the art of teaching.

Read MoreSMTA members: It is important that all members who are able to attend this virtual meeting do so. Though the SMTA has had to cancel spring events this year, we are actively planning for next season. We need a quorum to be able to vote on next season’s officers and budget.
Read MoreDuring the shutdown, the SMTA has still been very active. Many of our members have moved their studios online and continue to teach, and are rapidly learning how best to serve their students in this new environment. Several spring SMTA events have been cancelled but the board and event chairs are busy preparing for next season, including discussing contingency plans if in-person events are still not an option.
